Drawing Hips Tutorial by DianetheKraus
Drawing Hips Tutorial
I've always found hips are neglected in tutorials, when they're one of the more complicated areas of the body. And when you get them right they're AWESOME, but when you get them wrong... well, that's why I made this tutorial.

I drew hips wrong for ages. Finding the landmarks of the pelvis helped tremendously, but the pelvis itself is so weird, especially in 3D, that I felt it would be pointless trying to do a pelvis tutorial.

So instead I found out how to plot those landmarks without it. Who needs pelvises! Pelvi? Whatever! WHO NEEDS 'EM!

I hope this helps people draw hips.  Legs coming soon!

Fifth by DianetheKraus
Fifth
I keep drawing these guys bigger and bigger. Maybe not being as familiar with the next three will tone it down a bit.

Peter Davison was the first Doctor I really watched. I even had the paperback of Castrovalva. I can't even remember what it was about now!

Gotta get going to finish these guys before the end of #Inktober.

I swear to god I'm going to get that hip tutorial out to you guys soon. I'm just absolutely dedicated to figuring out a way to clearly explain the pelvis, which is taking some... patience. And time.

I finished up prepping for the next Pencil Kings Challenge though, five hours worth of Perspective videos that I hope will really help people out.  More info on that when I get it!

Gonna start a YouTube channel to demo some of this stuff soon, too, as soon as I don't have a big bandaid smack between my eyes. =P  Until I get suggestions I'm just going to demo each of my anatomy tutorials, try to make it quick and clear, step-by-step, show how these things are constructed.

Like pelvises. Wtf pelvis, make sense.

Fourth by DianetheKraus
Fourth
I'm doing all the Doctors for #inktober but I was especially happy with how Four came out here. When I get them all done I'm gonna stitch them together into a poster or something.

In the meantime, you can see them as I do 'em on my Tumblr: dianekraus.tumblr.com/

Wow what an amazing gallery! I really enjoy the variety of art and I especially love the World of Warcraft art. The one of Hathrien in particular has got to be one one of my favourite ever Blood elf fanarts!

Definitely keeping an eye open for more, and I love the tutorials!
